I Have Nothing

Happy Monday!

I have been sitting here looking at my laptop and I have nothing.



I usually write down topics throughout the week to go back to when it's time to blog, but today I just don't feel like using any of them.

Somehow, today, I think I will just let myself be ... for lack of a better word, be BLANK.

Breathe in, breath out.

Sometimes, this is all we need to do, isn't it?

Watch the moment. Feel yourself breathing. Stare at a loved one and appreciate the lines on their face, the glow in their eyes, the joy in their smile.  Listen to conversations and amuse yourself with the sound of your peers voice, the tone of their laughter, the nuances in their speech.  Look at a page and see letters, not words and wonder how they come together and why you understand their meaning. Do something mechanically and repetitious, your senses concentrating on the movement and not the product, the rhythm and not the system.

I have nothing today.

Breathe in, breath out.

I have nothing, and I am grateful.
