Freedom to Choose

Happy Monday!

Decisions, decisions, decisions. They are the thread by which we weave our lives. The final tapestry you end up with will come from the big and small decisions you made with the days you were given.

But how much of your decisions do you feel completely accountable for?

Freedom and accountability are like salt and pepper. They come together. Decisions made with full accountability are liberating. They make us realize how much power we have in our hands to affect our lives and that of others.

You know how the young generations (oh and many older generations as well) are so hung up with #adulting? How does that really happen? It happens at that moment (or even moments) when you choose an option among many and say, "I'll stand by this, no matter the consequence, no looking back."
I will move out of the house, of not.
I will start a business, or not.
I will move out of the country, or not.
I will invest all that i have on this or that or not.
I will love this person or not.
Whichever which way you go, there are consequences. You just have to choose which consequence will sound more true to YOU - no one else.

If it is your truth, if you accept full responsibility for your choice, the ultimate reward is always freedom.

A clearer head.
A more easily recognizable personal voice.
More alignment with your values and thoughts.
A feeling of self acceptance
Stronger conviction and confidence to make more important decisions.

Call it. Accept your decisions as yours.

How do we make better big decisions? Make good small decisions. Wake up on time, make your bed, say no to that expensive coffee, clean your room, stop that negative self talk the moment it creeps in, don't call your ex.

Integrity at the moment of choice exercises the will to make more sound decisions in the future. So flex that muscle of the will and decide your way to a life you are comfortable living in.

Enjoy the week ahead!
