No One Will Notice

Except ME.

This is what I always tell myself when I want to make a short cut or when I want to just be less than what i would want to contribute.  No one will notice, but I WOULD, and I want to be good enough for myself.

I am in constant effort to see myself through.  This does not only apply to chasing success (frankly, I hardly ever), it also goes for self-care, for my thoughts, for how I want to show up for people.

No one will notice, but I would. I am an important part of this mix so I have to satisfy myself too.

Even when I discipline other people, I let them know the same.... when they want to give less, no one will notice... but I would, and it will not be OK.  Most importantly, it should not be ok for them as well. They should feel good of what they become.

What  people notice are outside successes.  But it is the little things that you do for others and for yourself that matters. They are seeds for outside successes...when success happens, it is just the fruit, just something so you have something to show for it. What matters are your little everyday building blocks of care, striving inch by inch to be better, wanting drop by drop to contribute to this world.
