Success

We all want to be successful.  The thing is, we may not define success the same way.   Needless to say, however which way we define our own personal success, reaching our goals will add to our joy.

While knowing in what area and how we want to be successful is important in this quest, these are not the focus of our blog today.

Today we focus on WHY we want to be successful.

The last thing we want to find ourselves in is to be in a situation where all the trimmings of success is staged and yet find that place in our lives empty and void of meaning.  So whilst we work to see the standards we pegged to define our success met, let us also be clear with what it is for.

What will you do with your success?

Obviously, I could not answer that for you.  Only you can answer that.  However, I invite you to think this over while we close the year and write down those GREAT New Year goals.  Let us look into these questions so we could add both direction and depth to our reflection on what we have done so far and where we are going for the coming year.

1.  When you finally reach the numbers/ measures you are aiming for, who benefits from your success?

2.  How will your goals change you? How will it change others?

3.  Who will you be once you've reached your goals?

May we all find meaning in our success and be good stewards of the life and time we borrowed!
